The final prep match for #CanWNT comes against a familiar foe tomorrow afternoon at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, UT. The #USWNT play host to les rouges, who will be donning the Centenary blue kits for the match in honour of the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Soccer Association, to continue a heated continental rivalry which would prove an emotional push in victory for John Herdman’s squad who face an extremely tough group in London in a few weeks.
More than 15,500 tickets have been sold, according to MLS side Real Salt Lake, who play out of Rio Tinto, a not uncommon number for the international derby which has drawn large crowds in two meetings in the US this year.
Sportsnet 1 will carry the game in Canada, airing at 1:30ET.
